Bourbonnais Police Issue Alert for Missing Illinois Teen Last Seen July 17th in Joliet Area

Joliet, IL – Authorities in Illinois are seeking the public’s help to locate a missing 19-year-old man last seen in the Joliet area on Thursday. The Bourbonnais Police Department, in partnership with the Kankakee County Sheriff’s Office, is leading the search effort for Lucas Weethee, who was reported missing by his family earlier this week.

According to a statement released by the Bourbonnais Police Department, Lucas Weethee was last seen on Wednesday, July 17, and was most recently believed to be in the Joliet area on Thursday, July 18. Authorities allege there is concern for his well-being and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Weethee is described as a 19-year-old male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was allegedly last seen wearing a gray jacket, camouflage baseball cap, dark gray sweatpants, and gray S.A.S. shoes.

Law enforcement officials are asking the community to remain alert and report any potential sightings or relevant information. Anyone who may have information about Lucas Weethee’s alleged whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Bourbonnais Police Department’s non-emergency number at 815-937-3579.
