Bourbonnais, IL – Kankakee city police responded to a home in the 1400 block of Maple Street early Friday morning after a woman reported that a man allegedly pulled a gun on her.
According to the Kankakee Police Department, the woman stated that the man, identified as 34-year-old Lamonte Watson Jr. of Bourbonnais, allegedly initially attempted to grab her inappropriately before pointing a gun at her.
Officers located Watson in the basement of the home and took him into custody without incident. A 9 mm pistol was recovered, hidden behind a heater in the basement. Watson has been charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.
