Bourbonnais, IL – The Original Secret Pantry will host its next mobile food pantry on Thursday, July 18, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. The pantry event will take place in Bourbonnais, providing much-needed food assistance to those in the community.
According to organizers, there are no financial or residential restrictions—anyone in need can come for food. While there is no mandatory charge, a $5 donation is encouraged to support the pantry’s efforts. Attendees with questions regarding the donation can reach out to The Original Secret Pantry’s Facebook group.
The pantry advises attendees not to arrive more than 30 minutes before the event and to follow the designated route to ensure smooth traffic flow. Participants should take Illinois Route 102 (Main Street NW) and turn onto Stratford Drive East. From there, they should follow Stratford Drive East to Briarcliff Lane and turn right. Vehicles will then turn right onto Plum Creek Drive, where they will be staged while awaiting entry for food pickup on Briarwood Lane.
Organizers emphasize the importance of not blocking any residential or commercial driveways while waiting. This measure aims to maintain neighborhood accessibility and minimize disruption.
