Bourbonnais, IL – Kankakee River State Park Hosts Free Career Exploration Day for Students

Bourbonnais, IL – Middle and high school students are invited to a free Career Exploration Day on June 23 at Kankakee River State Park.

The event, from noon to 8 p.m., offers insights into natural resource careers, archery, fishing, firearm basics, and more.

According to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, the event will feature IDNR wildland fire equipment, airboat and nature center tours, and invasive species management. Snacks, copi tasting, and dinner will be provided.
