Bourbonnais, IL – Kankakee County Animal Control is currently hiring for a part-time kennel technician position. This role offers animal enthusiasts an opportunity to work approximately 25 hours per pay period. The position’s schedule includes working every other Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., every Sunday and county holiday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and every Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
According to Kankakee County Animal Control, the part-time kennel technician will be responsible for the care and maintenance of the animals housed at their facility. Duties include cleaning kennels, feeding and providing water for the animals, and assisting with general upkeep to ensure a safe and healthy environment for both animals and staff.
