Bourbonnais’ ‘A Night in Sleepy Hollow’ Kicks Off at Perry Farm This Weekend

Bourbonnais, IL – The 32nd annual “A Night in Sleepy Hollow” returns this weekend to Perry Farm Park in Bourbonnais. The popular event begins Thursday and runs through Saturday, bringing the iconic tale of the Headless Horseman to life.

According to the Bourbonnais Township Park District, the reenactment, produced by the Kankakee Valley Theatre Association, blends live performances and an exciting wagon ride. Attendees will enjoy scenes inspired by Washington Irving’s famous story, featuring characters like Ichabod Crane and Katrina Van Tassel.

Performances last 60 minutes, and shows begin at 6 p.m., with the last one starting at 10 p.m. each night. Limited tickets are still available online, with prices at $20 per person.

Organizers note that the event has limited accessibility and no strollers are allowed. Food vendors and holiday crafts will also be available to enhance the festive atmosphere.
