Boston, Mass. – Massachusetts will see a comfortable but breezy Sunday with temperatures rising into the upper 70s and low 80s under partly sunny skies. Gusty south winds up to 25 mph could make the day feel warmer, while western parts of the state carry a small chance for an isolated afternoon shower.
According to the National Weather Service in Boston, most of the state will remain dry, but clouds may thicken in Berkshire and Franklin counties later in the day. Boston, Worcester, and Springfield are expected to top out near 80 degrees, while Cape Cod and the Islands will hover in the mid-70s with cooler ocean breezes.
Drivers along I-90 and I-91 should be aware of occasional gusty crosswinds. Boaters along the South Shore and Cape waters may also face choppy conditions, and the NWS advises caution for those heading offshore.
The mild weather continues into early this week before rain chances increase by midweek.
