According to forecasters, conditions will shift tonight as skies turn mostly cloudy. A few showers are possible late this evening into the overnight hours, mainly affecting communities along the south coast, including New Bedford, Fall River, and Cape Cod. Temperatures tonight are expected to dip into the mid-50s to lower 60s.
Travelers and late-night commuters should be aware of reduced visibility in any passing showers. While rainfall totals are expected to remain light, brief wet conditions could develop along coastal highways and secondary roads.
