Boston, MA – Massachusetts residents will enjoy another unseasonably warm day Saturday, with highs ranging from the low 70s along the coast to near 80°F inland. Sunshine will dominate the morning before clouds increase during the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Boston.
According to forecasters, conditions will shift tonight as skies turn mostly cloudy. A few showers are possible late this evening into the overnight hours, mainly affecting communities along the south coast, including New Bedford, Fall River, and Cape Cod. Temperatures tonight are expected to dip into the mid-50s to lower 60s.
Travelers and late-night commuters should be aware of reduced visibility in any passing showers. While rainfall totals are expected to remain light, brief wet conditions could develop along coastal highways and secondary roads.
Sunday is expected to start with lingering clouds before clearing later in the day, bringing another stretch of mild early-fall weather across southern New England.
