Boston, MA – An extended stretch of dry weather will continue across Massachusetts through next weekend, according to the National Weather Service Boston.

Forecasters said Monday and Tuesday will bring above-normal warmth, with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees. Cooler air is expected to move in by midweek, with daytime highs only reaching the low to mid-60s Wednesday and Thursday. Nighttime lows will also fall into the mid-30s to low 40s in parts of the state.

According to the National Weather Service, the pattern shifts again by Friday as a warming trend develops. Highs will rebound into the mid to upper 60s, with above-normal temperatures expected to persist into next weekend.

The upcoming dry stretch marks a period of stability in the region’s fall weather pattern. Sunshine will dominate most days, though Tuesday may bring some passing clouds. With no significant rainfall in the forecast, residents should expect favorable conditions for outdoor activities and fall foliage viewing.

Officials advise that the cooler midweek nights could bring patchy frost in some interior valleys, particularly on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

This stable pattern is expected to hold, with the next chance of unsettled weather not likely until after the weekend.
