The NWS says Tuesday will stay dry and mild, but widespread rain arrives after sunset, continuing into early Wednesday as a warm front lifts north. Rainfall chances reach 90–100% overnight, with lingering showers possible through Wednesday afternoon as temperatures rise to near 60°F.
By Thursday morning (Thanksgiving), a cold front will clear the region, ushering in gusty west-northwest winds and much colder air. Wind gusts could reach 35–40 mph, lasting through Friday, with daytime highs dropping into the 40s.
Forecasters note that the second half of the week will be breezy, dry, and noticeably cooler, ideal for holiday travel but with brisk wind chills.
