Boston, MA – A stretch of seasonable fall weather continues across Massachusetts today, with mainly sunny skies and cool afternoon temperatures, according to the National Weather Service in Boston.

Forecasters expect highs between 48°F and 55°F, with west to northwest winds near 10–15 mph and occasional gusts reaching 20–25 mph. The day will be less breezy than Saturday, making for a crisp but pleasant afternoon.

Looking ahead, a few weak systems are forecast to move through the region early in the week. The National Weather Service notes that showers are possible Monday evening, followed by another chance for rain Wednesday night into Thursday. Daytime highs through midweek will remain in the 50s to near 60°F, with overnight lows in the upper 30s and low 40s.

Dry and sunny conditions are expected to return by late week, keeping New England’s fall colors on full display across the region.
