According to the National Weather Service in Boise, calm and sunny conditions will dominate through midweek, with highs climbing from the mid-60s Monday to near 80°F by Thursday afternoon. Winds will remain light from the southeast early, shifting east at 5 to 7 mph by Tuesday.
The Treasure Valley will stay mostly clear overnight, with lows dipping into the mid-40s early in the week and low 50s by Wednesday night. A weak Pacific system is expected to move in late Friday, bringing a 20 to 40 percent chance of scattered showers through Saturday evening before skies gradually clear again on Sunday.
Residents should take advantage of the calm weather to complete outdoor projects or travel before the weekend system arrives.
