BLUE ISLAND, IL – A 20-year-old resident of Blue Island, Illinois, has been taken into custody by the US Marshals Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force and the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office. Devin B. Sprowls was apprehended at his residence after an investigation led by both law enforcement agencies.
According to the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office, the arrest is connected to serious charges of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child, classified as a Class X Felony. The alleged incidents under investigation took place in Ottawa and rural Streator, prompting an urgent and thorough response from the authorities.
Sprowls is currently held at the LaSalle County Jail, where he awaits further legal proceedings. The bond has been set at $150,000 with 10% applicable.
