Birmingham, AL – Residents in Birmingham and surrounding areas can expect a warm start to the week with temperatures rising steadily. According to the National Weather Service in Birmingham, highs on Monday will reach around 91°F in Birmingham, with temperatures climbing even higher in nearby areas like Selma and Montgomery, where highs may hit 94°F and 95°F, respectively.

For the rest of the week, the forecast predicts a continued rise in temperatures, with Tuesday reaching 94°F in Birmingham and peaking at 95°F in Montgomery. Nighttime will offer little relief, with lows only dipping into the low 70s across the region.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated and limit outdoor activities during peak heat hours, especially as the heat index may push the feel-like temperature even higher. The heatwave is expected to continue through midweek, with temperatures remaining in the 90s across much of Alabama. As the week progresses, partly cloudy skies will dominate, providing some shade but little respite from the sweltering conditions.
