Birmingham, AL – A chilly start to the week will quickly give way to a stretch of warmer, sunny weather across central Alabama, according to the National Weather Service in Birmingham.
Forecasters say a cold front will move through early Sunday, leaving morning lows in the 30s and low 40s across much of the region. By Monday, highs will climb into the mid-60s, marking the start of a steady warm-up that continues through the work week.
According to the National Weather Service, temperatures are expected to reach the 70s again by Tuesday, with highs staying above normal through Saturday. Cities like Birmingham, Tuscaloosa, and Montgomery are forecast to see highs between 73°F and 77°F from mid- to late week.
Sunny skies and dry air will prevail through at least Saturday, with no rain chances expected after Sunday’s brief system.
