After a stretch of gloomy weather, conditions are expected to improve just in time for Thursday night’s festivities. Forecasters say skies will remain clear with no rain or strong winds, creating ideal weather for outdoor Halloween events.

Temperatures are forecast to hover around 58°F at 5 p.m., dropping to 51°F by 7 p.m., and dipping into the upper 40s by 9 p.m. The NWS noted that a 70% illuminated moon will add to the spooky atmosphere, while a light, chilly breeze settles over the region.
