Birmingham, AL – After a stretch of cloudy and cool days, sunshine returns to Central Alabama this week with a gradual warming trend, according to the National Weather Service in Birmingham.
High temperatures are forecast to reach the mid-50s to low 60s across much of the region, including Tuscaloosa, Montgomery, and Anniston, through midweek. Overnight lows will remain cool, dipping into the 30s and low 40s.
Forecasters say the mild pattern will continue into the weekend, with mostly dry conditions and a slight chance of rain arriving late Saturday into Sunday as a weak weather system approaches from the west. Rainfall totals are expected to remain light.
The NWS notes that temperatures will stay near or slightly above seasonal averages through next week, offering a welcome break from recent cold conditions.
