Binghamton, N.Y. – A stretch of warm, sunny weather is setting up across Central New York and Northeast Pennsylvania, giving residents a near-perfect weekend to spend outdoors. Afternoon highs will climb into the 70s and low 80s while nights remain comfortably cool.

According to the National Weather Service in Binghamton, valley fog will form each morning before skies turn mostly sunny by midday. Friday will stay dry with highs near 70, while Saturday will bring the warmest air of the stretch, reaching the upper 70s to low 80s. A weak disturbance could spark isolated showers north of the Mohawk Valley late Saturday night, but most of the region will remain dry.

Sunday returns to sunshine with highs in the mid to upper 70s, making it a great day for fairs, sports, and outdoor travel. Lows across the three days will dip into the 40s and 50s, offering comfortable sleeping weather and reducing energy demand.

Travelers should be cautious in the early mornings as valley fog may reduce visibility, especially along I-81, I-88, and rural roadways. The rest of the weekend poses no major weather hazards, with calm winds and dry skies prevailing.
