Bibb County, GA – Two people were taken into custody following a crash and DUI investigation along I-475 in Bibb County, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said a motorcyclist, who was wanted on a warrant, was found lying on the I-475 exit ramp with a Kawasaki motorcycle on top of him. The sheriff’s office reported that the rider, described as extremely uncooperative, lost control of the motorcycle and crashed.

According to the report, the motorcyclist was treated at a local hospital before being booked into the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center. He faces charges of driving under the influence, driving without a valid license, and driving while his license was suspended or revoked. Deputies also confirmed he was wanted on a battery–family violence warrant.

Authorities added that a woman who arrived at the scene in a Chrysler minivan to retrieve the motorcycle was also arrested. She allegedly appeared intoxicated and was charged with DUI, driving without insurance, and driving on a suspended registration.

Both the motorcycle and the Chrysler were towed from the scene, deputies said.
