
Macon, GA – Two men were taken into custody after allegedly stealing more than $1,500 worth of power tools from the Ace Hardware store on Houston Road, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the suspects arrived at the business in a Ford F-150 and one of them exited the truck to steal tools from the store. Investigators later located the vehicle through Flock cameras on North Avenue. Both men were apprehended by members of the Sheriff’s S.R.T. Unit and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.
According to the report, both suspects face felony charges for shoplifting and probation violation. A female passenger in the truck was questioned but not charged and later released at the scene.
