Macon, GA – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Monday afternoon shooting near Northpark Center that led to the arrest of four suspects. The incident occurred around 1:41 p.m. at 156 Tom Hill Senior Boulevard, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to reports of gunfire near Northside Drive, just north of Tom Hill Senior Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers observed several males fleeing a stopped sport utility vehicle. A 21-year-old man, identified as the vehicle’s owner, was taken into custody after attempting to flee on foot.

An 18-year-old suspect allegedly dropped a book bag while running and was also apprehended. Deputies then detained two additional 18-year-old suspects—one behind the nearby shopping center and another near the Kroger parking area.

According to investigators, several firearms, marijuana, and bookbags were recovered at the scene. All four suspects were transported to the Bibb County Investigations Headquarters. No injuries or property damage were reported.
