Macon, GA – A Bibb County Sheriff’s deputy arrested a man during a traffic stop after reportedly finding crack cocaine and ecstasy inside his vehicle and on his person.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, Patrol Division Deputy John Kile initiated the stop after noticing a GMC Yukon without working taillights and a driver who failed to use a blinker. During the stop, Deputy Kile observed what was described as a silver cylinder in the driver’s lap.

A search revealed that the cylinder contained crack cocaine, and additional narcotics—including ecstasy—were discovered in the driver’s pocket, according to the report. The driver was immediately taken into custody and transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office for booking.

Authorities did not release the suspect’s name or additional case details as of Thursday afternoon.

The Sheriff’s Office continues to emphasize vigilance during routine traffic enforcement as deputies frequently uncover more serious offenses during such stops.
