Macon, GA – A 58-year-old Macon man has been arrested in connection with a commercial burglary at a Dollar General early Wednesday morning, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the call came in around 7:50 a.m. on October 15, 2025, reporting a break-in at the Dollar General located at 1444 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Surveillance footage reportedly showed a man forcefully entering the store.
When deputies arrived, they allegedly found and apprehended the suspect without incident. Merchandise taken from the business was recovered in his possession.
Authorities identified the suspect as Rodney Wade Fyffe, 58, of Macon. Fyffe faces a felony second-degree burglary charge and is currently being held at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center without bond.
Deputies have not reported any injuries during the incident. The case remains under investigation.
