Macon, GA – Two suspects were arrested Thursday after Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit and Gang Unit investigators executed a narcotics search warrant at a home on Chestney Street.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, one individual inside the home allegedly tried to shut the door after spotting deputies outside. Once officers made entry, investigators reportedly found marijuana, digital scales, a large amount of U.S. currency, and multiple weapons.
Authorities say one of the weapons recovered had a Glock “switch” attachment and was reported stolen out of Kentucky. The resident was arrested on drug and gun charges. A second individual inside the home was also taken into custody on similar charges.
Both suspects were transported without further incident to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center. The investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may follow as evidence is processed.
