Macon, GA – A suspected narcotics trafficker is in custody after Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies, U.S. Marshals, and the Gang Unit executed a search warrant on Arkwright Road, uncovering a large stash of drugs, firearms, and cash.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, investigators recovered a Glock 30 handgun, a stolen Sig Sauer 9mm handgun, more than two pounds of marijuana, 1.5 ounces of suspected Ecstasy, three grams of cocaine, 49 oxycodone pills, packaging materials, a digital scale, and a large amount of U.S. currency.

Authorities said the warrant stemmed from a prior case where deputies allegedly discovered about eleven pounds of marijuana inside a vehicle the same suspect was driving after fleeing a traffic stop near Brentwood Avenue.

The individual was booked into the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center on multiple drug and firearm charges. Officials said the bust highlights ongoing cooperation between the Drug and Gang Units and federal partners.
