Macon, GA – A suspected drug dealer was taken into custody this week after deputies discovered marijuana, firearms, and a large amount of cash during a raid at a home on Woolfolk Street, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the Bibb County Drug Unit, Gang Unit, and SWAT Team executed a search warrant that uncovered more than four pounds of marijuana, digital scales, packaging materials, a Radical Arms AR-15 rifle, and a Ruger handgun that had been reported stolen. Deputies also seized a large sum of U.S. currency.
The male suspect was arrested at the scene and taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. He faces multiple charges, including possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony (two counts), and theft by receiving stolen property.
The Sheriff’s Office shared photos of the seized evidence, emphasizing ongoing efforts by its Gang and Drug Units to combat narcotics and illegal firearm activity in the Macon area.
