Bibb County, GA – Two suspects were arrested Friday after Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies allegedly found drugs, weapons, and a stolen firearm equipped with a Glock “Switch” device during a raid on Forest Hill Road.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, the Special Investigations Unit and Gang Unit located a man and woman hiding under a bed inside an apartment. The pair was allegedly armed with a stolen Glock modified with a Seer/Switch, a device that converts the handgun to fully automatic.
Investigators said they discovered marijuana packaged for sale, multiple digital scales, and several empty one-pound packaging bags. Deputies also found multiple empty bottles and a half-full bottle of Promethazine, as well as other packaging materials commonly used for narcotics distribution.
The suspects were taken to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. They face multiple charges, including possession and intent to distribute marijuana, manufacturing or sale of controlled substances, and possession of a sawed-off rifle, machine gun, or silencer. Authorities said the suspects also face firearm-related felony charges connected to the alleged attempted commission of other crimes.
No injuries were reported during the arrest, and the investigation remains ongoing.
