Macon, GA – Two men were arrested Wednesday after allegedly using stolen credit card information to buy merchandise worth hundreds of dollars, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies reported that the pair drove to a sporting goods store on Riverside Drive to pick up items they allegedly purchased online using the victim’s credit card details. Both men were taken into custody after deputies confirmed the fraudulent activity.

According to the sheriff’s office, one suspect had an active warrant out of Florida. The two men, described as uncooperative during the arrest, were transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.

Deputies said they also recovered thousands of dollars in cash, five cell phones, and a debit card not registered in either suspect’s name inside the suspects’ vehicle. The case remains under investigation, and authorities have not yet released the identities of the individuals.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division continues to investigate whether the pair may be connected to other fraudulent activity in the area.
