That same day, Hers Rose, 48, of Albany, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence and reckless driving after crashing a vehicle on Highway 20 west of Philomath.

Also on Feb. 3, deputies arrested Jacob Patrick Parsons, 23, of Clackamas, on an alleged DUII charge.

That same day, Lukas John Ruden, 22, of Amity, was arrested for an alleged DUII offense.

The sheriff’s office noted that a DUII charge may involve alcohol, drugs, or a combination of intoxicants. All arrests are allegations, and each defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

The incidents span several major travel routes and communities frequently used by students, commuters, and young workers throughout Benton County.
