Wheeling, WV – Families across the Ohio Valley are invited to help spread holiday cheer this season as the 9th Annual Operation Toy Lift returns to the Ohio Valley Mall on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

According to the Wheeling Police Department, the annual toy collection effort is once again teaming up with Belmont County Sheriff’s Office and WTRF 7 News to gather new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages. Officers and volunteers will be stationed in the mall’s parking lot, directly across from Ferguson’s House of Furniture.

Participants can drive up and drop off donations safely without leaving their vehicles. The collected toys will be distributed to families throughout the Ohio Valley to ensure every child experiences a joyful Christmas morning.

Law enforcement officials say the event has grown each year, helping hundreds of children thanks to generous community support. Organizers encourage residents to bring a toy, share the event on social media, and help “make this Christmas magical for every child.”
