Bellefontaine, OH – Man Arrested on Felony Cocaine Trafficking Warrant

Bellefontaine, OH – A Bellefontaine man was arrested Wednesday after the Logan County Unified Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at his home, leading to the discovery of drugs, cash, and a firearm.

According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies served the warrant on County Road 130 on September 24. The homeowner, identified as Joseph Clifford, was taken into custody on a felony warrant for trafficking in cocaine.

Law enforcement reported finding a gallon-sized plastic bag covered in cocaine residue near a toilet, along with a large quantity of what is believed to be illegally pressed pills containing narcotics. Authorities also seized psilocybin mushrooms, multiple pills, approximately $28,221 in cash, and a handgun.

Additional charges are being reviewed by the Logan County Prosecutor’s Office, officials confirmed.

This remains an active investigation.
