Pittsburgh, PA – Pittsburgh’s Barrel & Flow Fest, one of the nation’s premier festivals celebrating craft beer and the city’s diverse art community, returns this weekend to the Strip District, Voted the #1 brew fest in America for two consecutive years by USA Today readers, Barrel & Flow will offer a new raffle reward this year.
In partnership with The Midwife Center, the only freestanding, licensed birth center in Southwestern Pennsylvania, Barrel & Flow Fest will launch its inaugural 50/Snippy Raffle. Raffle tickets are 50 cents each and include information on area reproductive health. Prizes include cash or a vasectomy. Half of all proceeds will benefit The Midwife Center and reproductive rights organizations.
“As we see our freedoms stripped away daily, it’s time to have conversations on how we all can do our part in securing our futures,” Barrel & Flow said in an official social media post. “What better way to do so than over a drink and a game of chance?” The 50/Snippy Raffle takes place Saturday from noon to 7 p.m. at The Stacks at 3 Crossings. The Barrel & Flow Week’s Sunday Wine Down will close the festival with a relaxed evening of sangrias.
Barrel & Flow Fest highlights Black-owned breweries, musical performers, and visual artists from across the region. Breweries collaborate with one another, and artists of varying disciplines network throughout the festival. All groups come together to create a community celebration open to the public.
Attendees can explore Pittsburgh’s food and drink scene through events such as Ditch Day Pittsburgh, the Bottle Share, and the Saturday Fest. DJs, artists, and performers will showcase their talents at events like The Overflow After Party and Soul Glo: Barrel & Flow Official After Party. One event, the Friday Conference, will focus on the link between community engagement, wellness, and professionalism.
