Baltimore, MD – Maryland residents can expect a stretch of seasonable, sunny weather heading into the weekend, according to the National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington.

Forecasters said Friday will bring a mix of sunshine and high clouds with light south winds around 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures will range from 69–74 degrees around urban and bay areas, with slightly cooler highs of 62–74 degrees in the mountains.

According to the National Weather Service, conditions will warm on Saturday, October 4, with plenty of sunshine and highs reaching 74–80 degrees in central Maryland and the D.C. region. Mountain areas can expect 68–78 degrees. Winds will remain light from the south and southeast.

Sunday is shaping up to be the warmest day of the weekend, with highs pushing 75–80 degrees across the Baltimore-Washington corridor and 69–77 degrees in the mountains. Sunshine will dominate, and humidity levels are expected to remain comfortable.

The NWS says the combination of clear skies, mild winds, and moderate humidity will make for favorable outdoor conditions throughout the weekend. Residents should take advantage of the pleasant weather before cooler fall patterns return next week.
