Washington, D.C. – The National Weather Service in Baltimore/Washington reports that morning clouds will gradually clear, leading to mostly sunny skies by afternoon across the region.

Temperatures will be slightly warmer than Saturday, with highs reaching the upper 50s to around 60°F in most areas. Mountain communities such as Oakland and Franklin will stay cooler, with highs in the upper 40s to mid-50s.

The pleasant and dry weather will continue into the start of the workweek, offering ideal travel conditions ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday. Winds will remain light, and no precipitation is expected today.

Forecasters say this pattern will hold through Monday before clouds return Tuesday with the next frontal system.
