Baltimore, Maryland – Mild and dry conditions today will give way to a wet stretch of weather Friday into Saturday as multiple weather systems move through the region.

According to the National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington office, a cold front and a series of low-pressure systems will bring widespread rainfall to the Baltimore area beginning Friday. High temperatures Friday are expected to range from about 53 to 66 degrees, with periods of rain developing throughout the day.

Rain chances increase further Saturday, with probabilities ranging from 70 to 100 percent. Temperatures are forecast to remain mild, generally in the upper 50s to mid-60s, before cooler air begins moving in late in the weekend.

By Sunday, conditions turn noticeably cooler and breezier as seasonal cold air settles into the region. High temperatures are expected to fall into the mid-40s, with gusty west winds developing. Monday is forecast to remain dry but colder, with highs mainly in the upper 30s to low 40s.

The rain may impact weekend travel and outdoor plans, particularly Friday night and Saturday. Residents are encouraged to monitor updated forecasts as rainfall timing and amounts become clearer.
