Baltimore, MD – Seasonable and pleasant fall weather will dominate much of Maryland through early this week, with only a brief chance of light rain Monday as a weak system passes to the south, according to the National Weather Service in Baltimore/Washington.

Sunday brings partly cloudy skies and mild highs between 45°F and 65°F, with overnight lows dipping into the 30s and 40s. Monday will start dry before light rain showers develop east of I-95, especially along the Chesapeake Bay and coastal areas.

Forecasters say low pressure moving offshore will brush parts of the Delmarva Peninsula and southern Maryland, but most inland areas will remain dry. By Tuesday, sunshine returns with highs near 60°F and lows in the mid-30s to mid-40s, keeping conditions ideal for early November.

No significant weather systems are expected midweek, allowing for several days of cool mornings and comfortable afternoons under partly sunny skies.
