Baltimore, MD – A stretch of sunny, comfortable fall weather is settling across the Mid-Atlantic before a weekend warm-up and the next cold front early next week.
According to the US National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington, high pressure will dominate the region through Friday, keeping skies mostly clear and conditions dry. Temperatures will stay on the cool side, with highs between the upper 50s and mid-60s Thursday and Friday.
By Saturday, warmer air returns with highs climbing into the upper 60s to lower 70s under mostly sunny skies. The next weather shift arrives Sunday, when a cold front will move through, bringing showers and possibly a thunderstorm or two before another round of cool, dry air settles in to start the new week.
Forecasters say this will be a good stretch for outdoor plans through Saturday, but those heading out Sunday should keep an eye on the forecast for timing of the approaching front.
