
Towson, MD – Members of the Baltimore County Police Department’s Crash Team have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run that occurred early Tuesday morning, January 27.
According to police, officers from Precinct 12 – Dundalk responded around 7:35 a.m. to a reported pedestrian crash along North Point Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found 19-year-old Todd Hines Jr. had been struck by a 2006 Ford F-250 that fled the scene heading southbound.
Investigators were able to quickly locate and stop the vehicle. Through further investigation, the department’s Crash Team determined the truck’s operator was responsible for striking Hines. The suspect was taken into custody, and charges are currently pending, officials said.
The incident remains under investigation as police continue to gather details surrounding the crash. Authorities have not yet released the name of the driver.
