Towson, MD – Baltimore County Police homicide detectives are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred early Sunday, November 9, in the 200 block of Pittston Circle, 21117.
According to the Baltimore County Police Department, officers from the Franklin Precinct responded around 1:50 a.m. for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, police found an adult male and an adult female suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were transported by medics to nearby hospitals for treatment.
One of the victims, identified as 24-year-old Chariyah Woods, did not survive and was pronounced deceased. The male victim remains hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.
Authorities confirmed that Woods’ body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where an autopsy will determine the official cause and manner of death.
Detectives have not released details on a possible suspect or motive. The investigation remains active as police continue to gather evidence and interview witnesses.
