Greenville, SC – The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg reports that broad high pressure will remain just north of the Carolinas today, keeping conditions dry, cool, and partly cloudy across the region.

After a chilly start this morning, light northeast winds and increasing clouds will keep afternoon highs several degrees below normal, with most areas reaching the upper 50s to low 60s.

The cool pattern will persist into early next week, with below-normal temperatures expected through at least Tuesday. Rain chances are expected to gradually increase Sunday evening as a new system approaches from the west.

No hazardous weather is anticipated today, but travelers and outdoor planners should expect overcast skies and brisk air throughout the afternoon.
