Austin, Texas – Gusty winds up to 30 mph and near 90-degree heat are already building across Central Texas today, setting the stage for storms that could impact the Thursday morning commute.

High temperatures are expected to reach the upper 80s to low 90s, including 90 in San Antonio and near 89 in Austin, with only a slight chance of stray showers near Highway 77.
