Austin, TX – Central and South-Central Texas will see another warm and partly cloudy day Tuesday, with highs ranging from the mid-80s to mid-90s, according to the National Weather Service Austin-San Antonio. A few isolated showers or a stray storm could develop this afternoon or evening, but most areas will stay dry.

Forecasters said light easterly winds will shift to the northeast late in the day, maintaining above-average temperatures. The pattern of warm afternoons will continue through midweek before cooler, less humid air arrives by late week.

According to the weather service, lows are expected to dip into the upper 50s and low 60s by the weekend, offering relief from recent heat. Rain chances fall to near zero after Wednesday, signaling a drier pattern ahead.

Cities such as San Antonio, Austin, and New Braunfels are expected to reach highs in the low to mid-90s Tuesday, while Hill Country communities like Fredericksburg and Kerrville will top out in the upper 80s.

Drivers and outdoor workers are encouraged to stay hydrated as temperatures remain unseasonably warm through midweek.
