Austin–San Antonio, Texas — A remarkably warm and humid night is setting up across South-Central Texas, with temperatures expected to remain far above what is typical for mid-November.
According to the National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio, many areas may experience near-record warm lows, with temperatures failing to drop below the upper 60s and even low 70s.
Increasing clouds will help trap warmth overnight, keeping conditions muggy from the Hill Country to the Rio Grande.
Forecast Lows Tonight
- Coastal Plains: 65–69°F
- I-35 Corridor (including Austin & San Antonio): 63–70°F
- Hill Country: 63–67°F
- Southern Edwards Plateau: 63–69°F
- Rio Grande Plains: 66–71°F
These temperatures are more typical of early September than mid-November, and the NWS notes that several locations could challenge or break record warm minimum temperatures.
Cloud cover will continue to build overnight, setting the stage for a warm start to Wednesday.
