Aurora, Ill. — At approximately 7:48 p.m. on July 1, Aurora Police officers responded to a call alleging aggravated battery outside of a business in the 200 block of East Galena Boulevard.Â
Soon after responding to the call, officers closed traffic on Galena Boulevard from both directions between Lincoln and Broadway. The department updated that the scene was clear and the road reopened at 10:40 p.m. on the night of July 1.
When arriving at the scene, officers located a male victim who was then transported to the hospital in stable condition. A second victim with some injuries was also found and sent for medical examination.
The Aurora Police Department said all parties involved were identified and located. They are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the aggravated battery incident as of 10:40 p.m. last evening.
