Atlanta, GA – North and Central Georgia are heading into an unusually pleasant stretch of November weather, with sunny skies and warm temperatures expected through the weekend and into next week.

According to the National Weather Service in Peachtree City, dry and stable conditions will dominate the region from today through at least Tuesday. Highs will range from the low 70s to upper 70s each afternoon, with overnight lows dipping into the upper 30s and 40s through Saturday before gradually warming into the 50s early next week.

Forecasters say the only mentionable rain chance in the entire seven-day outlook is confined to far northern Georgia early Sunday morning, and even that is minimal—less than a 15 percent probability. Most areas across metro Atlanta, Macon, LaGrange, and Athens will remain completely dry.

Sunny conditions Friday and Saturday will transition into mostly sunny skies Sunday and Monday, with clear mornings and mild afternoons. By Tuesday and Wednesday, isolated afternoon showers may begin to develop over the far northern counties, but coverage is expected to stay extremely limited.

Temperatures will remain well above seasonal averages, with highs holding between 73 and 79 degrees from Sunday through Thursday. Lows trend upward through the week as well, ranging from the low 40s this weekend to the mid-50s by midweek.

The National Weather Service emphasizes that this extended period of calm weather should provide excellent conditions for outdoor plans, sporting events, and early holiday travel. With no significant systems on the horizon, residents can expect a quiet and comfortable stretch across much of Georgia.
