Grand Junction, CO – Families heading out for Halloween festivities in western Colorado can expect dry, calm, and comfortable weather tonight, according to the US National Weather Service Grand Junction CO.
Forecasters say afternoon breezes, with gusts up to 20 mph in mountain areas, will ease by sunset, leaving behind clear skies and light winds for the evening. Temperatures will remain mild for late October, ranging from the upper 50s in Grand Junction and Durango to the low 40s in Aspen.
Forecast maps show expected evening temperatures between 42°F and 63°F across the region — ideal for trick-or-treating or outdoor events. Conditions will stay dry into the weekend, with gradual warming expected. Highs could climb a few degrees Saturday and another five degrees Sunday as a ridge of high pressure settles in.
The NWS notes that the stretch of warm, dry weather will likely continue through midweek before a potential pattern shift later next week.
