WATSEKA, IL – In a surprising turn of events, 38-year-old Jill Williams of Iroquois found herself in jail for the second time in just 48 hours this week.

Williams was arrested Monday by the Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police after being discovered inside a residence that did not belong to her in the Village of Iroquois. It came days after an initial arrest Saturday when she was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Damage to Property.

Williams had been released on bond following her first arrest.

The Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police did not provide details on how Williams was discovered or why she was inside the residence, but she has now been charged with Criminal Trespass and is currently awaiting an appearance before a judge in Iroquois County Jail.
