Arlington Heights, IL – The Village of Arlington Heights Nursing Division is calling on residents to help local families by donating to its annual Community Food Drive, running now through Tuesday, November 18.

According to village officials, donations can be dropped off at Village Hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road, and at the Arlington Heights Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Road. Both locations are accepting non-perishable food, diapers, wipes, and personal care items to support area pantries and families in need.

Village Hall will collect donations Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Senior Center will be open for contributions Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Officials emphasized that every donation “brings comfort and hope” to community members facing food insecurity. The effort is supported by local partners including Elk Grove Township, Wheeling Township, Church of the Cross, and St. Edna Catholic Church.
