Arlington Heights, IL – The Village of Arlington Heights will officially kick off the holiday season on Friday, Nov. 28, with its annual Holiday Tree Lighting celebration from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at North School Park and Harmony Park.

According to the Village of Arlington Heights, festivities begin at North School Park with performances by the Hersey Dickens Singers and Vibe Dancers, along with speeches and a hot cocoa truck. The lighting ceremony will take place at 5 p.m., followed by songs from the Metropolis Actors.

After the lighting, families can hop aboard the Holly Trolley, which will shuttle between North School Park and Harmony Park from 3:45 to 6:45 p.m. At Harmony Park, guests will find more holiday cheer with live reindeer, an ice carver, Rolling Meadows Madrigal Singers, and festive decorations.

Both parks will feature photo opportunities and seasonal lights, offering a full evening of free entertainment for all ages. The event is presented by the Arlington Heights Special Events Commission and the Arlington Heights Park District.
