Arlington Heights, IL – Frontier Days Festival 2024 is set to take place from July 3rd to 7th at Recreation Park. Hosted by community volunteers and Frontier Days Festival, Inc., the event features carnival rides, concessions, and concerts. The Village is reminding residents and guests to use caution when navigating the event areas and watching for pedestrians.
One of the festival highlights will be the fireworks display, scheduled for July 4th. According to the Frontier Days website, the fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m. at Recreation Park. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to find good viewing spots and enjoy the pre-fireworks activities, including live music and food vendors.
Volunteers are crucial for the success of the Frontier Days event. All activities, including the Independence Day Parade, are made possible by volunteers. The organization encourages community members to sign up as “red shirts” to help keep the festival running smoothly. Volunteers can participate individually or as groups.
Shuttles will be available throughout the event to assist with parking and transport. The Village advises attendees to be mindful of parking regulations to avoid blocking driveways or hydrants.
In addition to fireworks, the festival features a Disability Day on July 6th and the Stampede 5K & 10K Run on July 7th. Frontier Days promises to be a fun-filled event for all ages, celebrating community spirit and summer festivities.
